This was extremely impressive, both outside and inside. It's described as both an historical monument and a work of art. The building incorporates the spot on which the tragic attempt upon the life of Emperor Alexander ll was committed. Hence the name. The walls are almost entirely covered with mosaics which are incredible.
Again, this is not a painting, but a mosaic.
